Clay McBryde, 53, of Russellville, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at his residence. The son of William McBryde, Sr and Norma Paulette Willey Rose, he was born May 22, 1965, in Pine Bluff. He is a graduate of Waldron High School and earned a Bachelor's degree from Arkansas Tech University. Clay married Tanya McBryde, on November 22, 2017, and served 25 years as an officer with the Russellville Police Department, and more than 4 years in the United States Army with a deployment to Iraq. He was a member of the Fifth & Greenwich Church of Christ where he frequently preached and taught Bible study classes. Most in life, he loved and enjoyed his family.\n\nClay was preceded in death by his mother, Paulette Rose. He is survived by his wife, Tanya; a son, Bradley McBryde of London; three brothers, Kurt McBryde (Ladonya) of Dover; Dan McBryde of Nashville, TN; and Clint McBryde (Alicia) of Ashflat, AR; two sisters, Aubrey Walsh (Shawn) of Ashflat; and Ashley McBryde of Nashville; his father, William McBryde, Sr. of Warm Springs, AR; a grandson, Kaden Birge of Texas; and his aunt, Leah McBryde of Warm Springs; along with many other nieces and nephews.\n\nGraveside services will be held at 3:00PM, Monday, June 25, 2018, at Rest Haven Memorial Park, under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
