Woodroe 'Woody' Robert Bunton, age 56, a resident of Pottsville, AR, died Saturday, March 30, 2002 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. He was born on November 28, 1945 in Pope County, AR, to Marion and Katie Clara (Peters) Bunton. He married Mertie Marie Doss on September 28, 2000 in Russellville, Arkansas. He was a Commercial Painter. He was preceded in death by his Parents; 2 Brothers, Lonzow Bunton, and James Bunton; and 1 Sister, Nina Issacson. He was Assembly of God in Faith. Survivors include his wife, Mertie Marie Bunton of Pottsville; a son, Eddie Wayne Bunton of Huntington; a daughter, Dana Denise Bunton Blackwell of Cleveland; 4 grandchildren, Katie, Johnny, Tiffany, Amber; two sisters, Lorene Owen of Hagarville, Aline Thompson of Russellville; one step son, Raymond Reeley of Lake Arrowhead; two step daughters, Joyce Huff of Booneville, Misti Reeley of Palm Springs; two sisters in law, Gladys Bunton of Russellville, Mary Bunton of Little Rock. Graveside Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2002 officiated by Rev. James Findley, at Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
