Youtha Adcock Graham Obituary (2014) - Russellville, Arkansas

Youtha Adcock Graham, 92, of Carter Cove, AR passed peacefully September 14, 2014, with her family by her side. She was born in Bluffton, AR, the third of eight children, to the late Sam and Leona Adcock. She was preceded in death by these beloved family members, daughter, Dorothy Williams; grandson, Dennis Gililland; brothers, Cecil, Darrel and Harold Adcock; sisters, Eva Lee Adcock, Sue Qualls and Ann Hunt; and nephews, Frankie Short and Jerry Qualls. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her sons, Johnny Chance of Carter Cove, AR, Robert Austin of Orlando, FL; daughters, Fran Reece (Bud) of Mt. George, AR and Christine Gulley (Tim) of Fairhaven, CA; and sisters Linda Short of Hot Springs, AR and Mary Lazenby of Plainview, AR. Youtha is also survived and adored by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Youtha worked at the Ola Nursing home for 12 years and always showed great compassion to all the patients. She never met a stranger and shared her friendliness and warmth with everyone she met. She loved the Lord, her family, friends, and all animals. She was a quilter, gardener and an amazing cook, who fulfilled all meal requests, from chocolate gravy to squirrel dumplings. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Plainview, AR, with visitation one hour prior to service. Chaplain Don Erwin will officiate.
