Zora Jane Tucker Obituary (1924

Zora Jane Tucker, 87, of Dardanelle, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle. The daughter of Garland and Gladys Mashburn, she was born July 24, 1924 in Dardanelle. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Wredgil "Dude" Tucker; her parents; and two brothers, Jess Mashburn and Opal Mashburn. Survivors include two sons, James Tucker & Linda of Russellville, Ronnie Tucker & Sharon of Dardanelle; three daughters, Brenda Breashears & Sonny of Dardanelle, Debbie Cheema & Tony of Long Island, NY, Janet Wood & Michael of Greenbrier; 11 grandchildren, Nikki Beller of Pottsville, Natasha Tucker of Springdale, Bret Tucker & Teri of Dardanelle, Rachel Campbell & Cory of Dover, Valerie Breashears of Little Rock, Britney Warren & Edward of Dardanelle, Ashley Zimmerlee & Stacy of Rose Bud, Brandon Wood & Katie of Brentwood, CA, Mauz Cheema & Yumana, Saad Cheema and Kainat Cheema of Long Island, NY; 12 great grandchildren; six siblings, Christine Snow of Nebraska, Margret Miller of Dardanelle, Linda Kinslow of Russellville, Molly Havner of Little Rock, Charlotte Price & Kenneth of Russellville and Gwen Mashburn of Dardanelle; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 12, 2012 at Humphrey Chapel. Pastor Kelly Pearson will officiate. Burial will be at Ringer Cemetery in Centerville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 P.M., on Sunday, at the funeral home.
